Italy - Sorrento, Positano, and Pompei – Day 11 – Stephanie

Today was amazing!  Catherine had booked a personal tour to the above mentioned 3 town.  It was like coming home in Sorrento where we walked about and bought a few more souvenirs.
Positano was stunning with the homes and businesses all stacked above each other on the cliff-side.  Kevin and I found a lovely restaurant and had a quick bite to eat.  Neither of us could get over the size of our sandwiches!

Pompeii was the highlight of the day for me.  We were able to see original wall murals in the ruins that date back to 680 BC!!!  It was an amazing lesson in history and I loved every minute of it! 

After Pompeii we went back to freshen up a bit and then off for a lovely dinner  Early night since we’re catching a 7:45 am train t Florence.
